§ Mr. ChannonIn addition to DTI funding of the promotional activities of the five English regional development organisations, the Invest in Britain Bureau within my Department, in collaboration with all the main British public sector inward investment bodies and the private sector, is mounting a major promotional campaign —Britain Means Business—over the coming year. The campaign will be in addition to the bureau's normal promotional activities, and will aim to consolidate and improve upon the United Kingdom's standing as the preferred location in Europe for direct investment from overseas.
