§ Mr. StanleyMy right hon. Friend has no reason to suppose that he was not fully briefed on the main facts relating to the sinking of the General Belgrano before he made his speech on 18 February. I understand that there are a great number of such documents and it would not have been practical for my right hon. Friend to have read every single one himself.
