Mr. Nicholson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many new houses the Northern Ireland Housing Executive proposes to build in (a) Newry town area and (b) the rural area of Newry and Mourne district council in the financial year 1985–86

Mr. Chris Patten

In 1985–86, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive proposes to build 41 new houses in the Newry town area, all of which are under construction at present, and 107 new houses in the rurual area of Newry and Mourne district council, 97 of which are under construction at present.

Mr. Nicholson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many new houses the Northern Ireland Housing Executive proposes to build in the Armagh district council area during the financial year 1985–86.

Mr. Chris Patten

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive proposes to build 61 new houses in the Armagh district council area in 1985–86, 30 of which are under construction at present.
