§ Mr. MellorFollowing my right hon. and learned Friend's meeting in Rome in February with the Italian Minister of Justice, preliminary discussions have taken place between officials of both Governments with a view 831W to preparing a revised extradition treaty. In particular, we consider that the list of offences for which extradition can be granted should be updated to include certain terrorist and drug offences.
