§ 55. Mr. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what plans he has made for the provision of aid to India during the years 1986 and 1987, respectively.
§ Mr. RaisonBritish aid is planned on a financial year basis. In 1985–86 we plan to spend £115 million of bilateral aid, provided that agreement is reached on certain projects which we have approved in principle. In addition, we expect to spend £14 million from the aid and trade provision. Figures are not available for subsequent years.
