§ Mr. DunnThe new funding arrangements for in-service training proposed in the White Paper "Better Schools" are intended to promote more systematic procedures for identifying teachers' needs for training, for matching training needs with suitable training activities and for making good use of teachers after training. Such improved procedures should serve to strengthen teaching in religious education as in other subjects.
