Lord Brabazon of Tara
There are no plans to provide a completely new road between Folkestone
1469WA
and Honiton. The route is being progressively improved by either rebuilding the existing road or by-passing it with sections of new road. Many schemes have been completed, or are under construction, and the major ones are listed in Table 1 below. Twenty national schemes, worth £186 million, are programmed (Table 2), and other are under active study or subject to further review (Table 3).
