§ Mr. Michael Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what consideration he has given to the use of labour-saving benefits from the use of new technology to enable offices of his Department which directly serve the public to remain open in the evenings and at weekends.
§ Mr. WhitneyOnce the benefits of new technology have been felt in local offices in improving the current service, consideration can then be given to widening that service.
