§ Mrs. ChalkerI am very pleased to say that, following an initiative by my Department, an international standard on coach roof strength was agreed in June by the United Nations expert group on vehicle construction. This will require roll-over bars or other measures to strenghthen the coach framework. We shall be introducing regulations as soon as we can to apply the standard to all new coaches registered in Britain.
