§ Mr. RentonThe Irish Foreign Minister made representations to Her Majesty's ambassador in Dublin on 15 January. The ambassador took note of them and made clear that he could make no comment on the incident until the facts had been established. He also explained our stated policy on the security forces in Northern Ireland.
