asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the water authorities which have, since the coming into force of the Water Act 1983, considered in public applications from health authorities to fluoridate the public water supply; and if he will make a statement.

I am not aware that any water authority has considered an application from a health authority to fluoridate the public water supply since the Water Act 1983 came into force.
