HC Deb 14 January 1985 vol 71 cc51-2W
Mr. Caborn

asked the Secretary of State for Transport to which services the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, the hon. Member for Hampshire, North-West (Mr. Mitchell) was referring when he said to the Association of Transport Co-ordinating Officers on 29 November 1984 that the Government were going to set the bus industry free to provide the full range of services people wanted.

Mr. David Mitchell

I was referring to services whose provision is now inhibited by the need to obtain a road service licence.
