HC Deb 09 January 1985 vol 70 cc505-6W
Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether general practitioners are to be allowed to charge a fee when National Health Service patients request private prescriptions for medications in the eight groups of drugs not listed as available for prescribing on Form E.C.10; and what will be the range of charges permitted to be added to the costs of medications by pharmacists supplying these medications listed on such private prescriptions.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

We are still considering these matters and consulting with the professions about them.
