§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe campaign has stimulated interest and been widely welcomed, and I took part in the first local launch of a link-worker scheme in Birmingham last month. The scheme will be extended successively to some eight or nine other areas in the course of this year. It is therefore too early to assess its impact, but it is intended to carry out a full evaluation of both the health educational campaign and the link-worker scheme over the next two to three years.
