asked the Secretary of State for Wales what was the number of offers of selective financial assistance made for projects in South Glamorgan from (a) July 1975 to May 1979 and (b) May 1979 to the latest available date.

In the periods 1 July 1975 to 30 April 1979 and 1 May 1979 to 26 February 1985 the numbers of offers of regional selective assistance made in South Glamorgan were 46 and 149 respectively.
