HC Deb 27 February 1985 vol 74 c213W
Mr. Foulkes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the effect of the proposed increase in EEC funds for the integrated Mediterranean programmes on (a) the size of the European regional development fund, (b) the proportions of the European regional development fund devoted to quota and non-quota sections, (c) the quota allocation to the United Kingdom and (d) the availability of European regional development funds for projects in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Rifkind

The Commission's new proposals for integrated Mediterranean programmes have only just been tabled and have not yet been discussed. The effect of the proposals on the European regional development fund is one of the points we shall wish to ascertain.
