HC Deb 26 February 1985 vol 74 c98W
Mr. Heddle

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when the appeal lodged by Mr. Kenneth Highfield of Anchor House, Stafford Street, Stone, Staffordshire, against the decision by the Stafford borough council, application No. 16777 of 12 December 1984 in respect of signs to be erected at Anchor House, 19 Stafford Street, Stone, will be heard.

Mr. MacFarlane

There is not expected to be a hearing for this appeal, because Mr. Highfield's agent has asked for it to be decided by means of written representations and an inspection of the site. As soon as the parties have completed their respective representations, the site inspection will take place, and my right hon. Friend's decision will be issued as quickly as possible.
