§ Mr. Corbynasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list the number of training places for occupational therapists available on 1 January 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1985.
§ Mr. WaldenInformation about the places on courses for the training of occupational therapists is not collected centrally. The numbers of students attending such courses in maintained and assisted colleges of further education in England from November 1979 to 1984 are as follows. I understand that similar courses are also run in establishments maintained by the Department of Health and Social Security, and in institutions in the private sector.
§ Mr. WaldenMy right hon. Friend has no plans to do so. He will shortly be receiving the advice of the National 13W Advisory Body for Public Sector Higher Education both on applications for advanced course approvals and on the distribution of the AFE pool for 1986–87.
