§ Mr. Strangasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information he has on the conference that Her Majesty's Government have undertaken to hold to mark the United Nations international peace year.
§ Mr. EggarThe conference will be held at the Wiston House conference centre at a date to be decided. Its purpose will be to examine international peacekeeping and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. We shall invite eminent individuals with practical or academic experience of these issues and hope that deliberations will make a significant contribution in this important field.
