Appointments of members to the employment appeal tribunal are made by Her Majesty the Queen and appointments of chairmen of industrial tribunals are made by the Lord Chancellor. Appointments to the other bodies are made either directly by my right hon. and noble Friend or by the appropriate executive body concerned.
