§ Mr. Fatchettasked the Prime Minister if, in the light of the secondment of Mr. Dick Clements from the Department of Health and Social Security to Hospital Hygiene Services, she will revise the rules governing the secondment of civil servants to companies closely connected with the work for which their parent Department is responsible.
§ The Prime MinisterNo. Care was taken to avoid possible conflicts of interest when Mr. Clements was granted leave to take up an outside appointment, and he has since resigned from the Civil Service.
