§ Mr. Wareingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the Fourth Report of the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology on the Local Government Bill (Scientific and Technical Services) in so far at it dealt with the organisation of local government.
§ Mr. WaldegraveWe shall need to study the report in detail, and my right hon. Friend will in due course be responding to the Committee in the normal way.
