§ The Prime MinisterI have met Afghan victims of the Soviet occupation on three occasions: on my visit to Pakistan in 1981; in 1982 when I received a delegation from the Afghanistan Support Committee; and in 1983 when I met a group of Afghans from the Logar valley, scene of an horrific massacre in September 1982.
