HC Deb 17 April 1985 vol 77 c191W
Mr. Robert Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on Grampian health board's plans for developments at the site of the Royal Cornhill hospital, Aberdeen.

Mr. John MacKay

Grampian health board has recently provided the Scottish Home and Health Department with further information about its proposals for redeveloping the Royal Cornhill hospital to provide 594 beds in new buildings and 120 beds in existing buildings at an estimated cost of £16 million. These proposals are being carefully considered in the light of this information, and a formal response will be made as soon as possible.
