asked the Solicitor-General for Scotland what was the number of prosecutions for offences relating exclusively to drunkenness in Aberdeen during the last 12 months, compared to the previous 12 months.

There were only five cases in which persons were prosecuted for being drunk and incapable in Aberdeen in 1984, compared with 235 cases in 1983.
