§ Sir Kenneth Lewisasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what consultations he has held concerning the report of the salmon sales group entitled, "Salmon Conservation—A New Approach"; and if he is now in a position to announce his decisions on the report's recommendations regarding the problems of salmon conservation.
§ Mr. MacGregorAs I said in reply to the hon. Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed (Mr. Beith) on 6610W March, we have been carrying out a very thorough review of the proposals for salmon tagging set out in the report "Salmon Conservation—A New Approach" and are still examining the problems highlighted by our examination. I shall make an announcement as soon as we have been able to reach a conclusion.
