asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many pregnant women have received a scan at hospitals in the Wandsworth area health authority in each of the last six months.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the present waiting time for hospital treatment in the Wandsworth area health authority; and if he will list the treatments for which there are waiting lists.

Information available centrally on inpatient waiting lists is categorised according to the specialty of the consultant but not according to the intended method of treatment. A copy of the inpatient waiting list at 31 March 1984 for Wandsworth district health authority by specialty is included in the bound volume of district waiting list returns which has been placed in the Library. Information on waiting times at district level is not available centrally. The hon. Member may wish to seek this information from the chairman of the Wandsworth health authority.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many beds there are in the special care baby unit in the Wandsworth area health authority; and if he will list the hospitals where these beds are.

There are currently 14 special care baby unit cots plus four intensive care cots for neonates in the Wandsworth health authority, all at St. George's hospital.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many geriatric beds there are in the Wandsworth area health authority; if he will list the local hospitals providing this medical care; and what was the number of such beds in 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983.

This information is not collected centrally but I understand from the Wandsworth health authority that the average waiting time for the first antenatal appointment is currently three to four weeks.
