§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe Welsh Office is in regular contact with the European Commission and other Community institutions on matters of regional policy either directly through attendance at formal meetings in Brussels or as part of the process of discussion and consultation with the Commission undertaken at the national level by the Department of Trade and Industry and the United Kingdom's permanent representation in Brussels.
