§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will take steps to ensure that the increase in the by-catch limit applying to Norway pout will not be extended beyond 31 March 1985.
§ Mr. MacGregorI take it that the hon. Member is referring to the situation after 31 May 1985 when the present temporary derogation expires. After that date, unless the Council decides otherwise on the basis of new proposals by the Commission, the original 10 per cent. by-catch limit will apply.
