asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he is satisfied that Port Stanley hospital had adequate burns unit facilities to treat Naval Apprentice Jonathan Mills; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Butler

The resources and standard of care available were comparable to those of a United Kingdom hospital without a specialist burns unit.

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what disciplinary action was taken against four sailors in the Sea Cat accident involving Naval Apprentice Jonathan Mills in the Falklands.

Mr. Butler

The Navy has taken disciplinary and other action appropriate to the circumstances.
