§ Mr. David Youngasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if Her Majesty's Government will insist that all security personnel accompanying a foreign distinguished visitor either conform to the laws of the United Kingdom or are not allowed in, and if the breach takes place after the admission they are prosecuted.

§ Mr. BrittanHer Majesty's Government expect all visitors to abide by the laws of the United Kingdom. If the Government knew that someone intended to break the law after arriving in this country, consideration would be given to refusing that person entry. If a person broke the criminal law once he was here, he would be liable to prosecution in the normal way.
