Mr. Freud

asked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will list in the Official Report the number of fatal accidents to farm workers occurring at work (a) nationally and (b) in Cambridgeshire in each of the last five years; and under what categories such accidents are recorded.

Information is given for fatal accidents reported to the Health and Safety Executive involving farm workers in each of the last five years.

The figures bracketed relate to accidents occurring in the county of Cambridgeshire.
