§ 34. Mr. Colvinasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many schools are designated also for cummunity use.
§ Mr. DunnThe Department keeps no central record of schools which have been designated community schools by their local education authorities. However, the first results of a 1983 follow-up to an earlier survey of shared and extended use in England show that 79 per cent. of all schools were regularly used outside school hours in term-time in 1983.
