§ Mr. Madelasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what recent representations he has received from the GCE and CSE examining boards in relation to the proposed new system of examinations; and if he will make a statement.
§ Sir Keith JosephI have so far received letters from six GCE boards and 10 CSE boards about the new system of GCSE examinations. All of these express support for the Government's proposals as well as offering comments on them.
