Mr. Tim Smith

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what advisers have been appointed by his Department during the last 12 months in connection with the Government's privatisation programme; and what advisers or consultants have been appointed in connection with any other matters.

  • Nomura Securities Co. Ltd. (Japanese financial advisers).
  • Linklaters & Paines (Solicitors).
  • Sullivan & Cromwell (US legal advisers).
  • McIver, Christensen & Kaufman (Japanese legal advisers).
  • Coopers & Lybrand (accountants).
  • Touche, Ross & Co. (accountants and consultants).
  • Dewe, Rogerson Ltd. (public relations consultants).
  • Hoare Govett Ltd. (stockbroking advisers).
