§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Lord Chancellor's Department does not provide assistance to legal advice centres as such. Seven law centres continue to receive financial support from the Lord Chancellor's Department in the light of decisions made by the previous Government when other sources of funding were with-drawn; in addition a number of law centres receive assistance under the urban programme.
