§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what studies his Department has undertaken or commissioned, during the last five years, of the impact of large new stores located outside town centres, of the multiple impact of more than one superstore or hypermarket being located within the same shopping catchment area, and of out-of-centre discount retail warehouses; and when any such studies have been published or will be published and to which geographical areas they relate.
