Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what was the total of expenditure by the London Boroughs' Association in each of the financial years 1982–83 and 1983–84 on the funding of voluntary housing bodies; and how many housing bodies received funding from the London Boroughs' Association in each of those years;

(2) how many applications were received in 1983–84 by the London Boroughs' Association from voluntary housing groups seeking funding; and how many were approved.
