HC Deb 25 October 1984 vol 65 cc703-4W
Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether the London Docklands Development Corporation has reviewed dental services in docklands; and what action the London Docklands Development Corporation proposes to take to improve these services and provide suitable accommodation for dentists.

Sir George Young

The provision of dental services in docklands is not the responsibility of the LDDC. The corporation is however willing to consider giving financial assistance to projects which make a contribution to the regeneration of the area. The corporation provided £53,000 for the puhchase of dental equipment by the Tower Hamlets district health authority.
