§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for the duration of the miners' strike in (a) Ayrshire and (b) Scotland the numbers of people (i) arrested, (ii) arrested and charged with an offence, (iii) convicted, (iv) acquitted, (v) who applied for legal aid, (vi) who were refused legal aid and for what reason, (vii) given unconditional bail and (viii) given conditional bail; and of those given conditional bail how many had been convicted of previous offences.
