asked the Secretary of State for Transport how many objections to the proposed east London river crossing have now been received from (a) local authorities, (b) local organisations, (c) businesses and (d) individuals.

We have received 1,630 representations; of these 11 were from local authorities, 36 from local organisations, 17 from businesses and 1,537 from individuals, including 158 who signed petitions. A further 29 representations have been received from groups and organisations outside the area.
