Mr. Freud

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list in the Official Report those organisations and individuals who responded to the report of the advisory committee on the supply and education of teachers, teacher training and special educational needs; and how many of these opposed the proposal to end the mandatory requirement for teachers of (a) the deaf, (b) partially-hearing and (c) the blind to hold a specialist qualification.
