§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeInformation about applications for licences to market medicinal products in the United Kingdom is confidential as it could be of commercial value. I should however explain that Preglandin is the brand name in a number of countries of evening primrose oil. This preparation is sold in the United Kingdom as a dietary supplement. As it is not a medicinal product it does not need to be licensed under the Medicines Act 1968.
