asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what has been the cost to the public of printing and of sending out, respectively, the pamphlet "The Rates Act: Protecting the Ratepayer", in the United Kingdom, in the city of Leicester and in the constituency of Leicester, West, respectively.

The figures are not available in this from. More than four million leaflets were printed and a copy was delivered to all households in areas covered by authorities selected for rate limitation at a total cost of £148,630. It is not possible to break down the costs into individual areas.
