§ Mr. LuceWe continue to be concerned at reports of violations of human rights in Iran, and we shall take every suitable opportunity to urge the Iranian authorities to meet their obligations under the United Nations convention on human rights. On 2 October representatives of the448W European Community delivered a demarche on behalf of the Ten to the Iranian Government about the human rights situation in Iran.
