§ Mrs. ChalkerA single carriageway all-purpose link to the A6 at Stepping Hill will form part of our proposals for the A6(M) Stockport north-south bypass. Plans of these new roads, and of related measures to restrain traffic on the present A6 through the centre of Hazel Grove, will be displayed locally on 12, 13 and 15 December. I am writing to my hon. Friend about the details.
It seems unlikely that construction could start before the end of 1987.
