* Provisional.

Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment which London local authorities would gain and which would lose from his proposals that the collective funding of voluntary bodies should be met by contributions based on population rather than rateable value; and what would be the percentage change in the contribution for each authority.

Mr. Waldegrave

I shall answer this question shortly.
