§ Mr. Kennedyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement with regard to the progress of the report by the Building Research Establishment into the incidence and effect of cavity wall insulation in timber-framed houses.
§ Mr. AncramThe Building Research Establishment expects to publish its report early in the new year. It will take the form of a BRE information paper giving guidance to building surveyors to help them to assess the risk of damp in individual properties.
