§ Mr. John PattenIt is for regional health authorities to assess priorities within their regions and to allocate resources accordingly. Mersey region envisages a major expansion of services at Clatterbridge with additional equipment and capital investment. A thorough review of all aspects of the centre is under way including staffing levels, prospective accommodation needs and the management of the treatment of patients.
