§ 62. Mr. Colin Shepherdasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he last met the Building Societies Association to discuss the Housing Defects Act.
§ Sir George YoungThe Department's discussions with the Building Societies Association and the National House-Building Council about arrangements intended to enable building societies to lend with confidence on the security of repaired prefabricated reinforced concrete houses are continuing as a matter of urgency. My right hon. Friend hopes to make an announcement on the outcome of these discussions in the near future.
